Life After

So last night my ex husband, of less than two weeks, had a date. Like a legitimate date, not a “hey lets hang out.” And it got me thinking.

This is my musings:

  1. Life is too short and too precious to waste it on people who neither know, nor care how amazing you are.
  2. If your time is not important enough to someone for them to ask for it, why in the hell would you give it to them?
  3. The speed of the connection does not determine its worth.
  4. If you know what you want, then go after it.
  5. I am not surprised he had a date since he had been dating the last year and a half of our marriage.
  6. Do not wast time going backwards, the people that are there were left there for a reason.
  7. No one gets to tell you how fast you’re supposed to heal.

Also, never underestimate the value of a friend that posted memes and videos to your Facebook just to make you smile!
